Research of attitudes of students in secondary schools in region for substance abuse

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou návykových látek u studentů středních škol v Ústeckém kraji a je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. Obsahuje několik teoreticky zaměřených kapitol, ve kterých je popsána stručná historie návykových látek, problematika návykových látek v období adolescence, charakteristika vybraných návykových látek, problematika závislosti, vymezení vývojového období adolescence a také informace o prevenci v oblasti návykových látek. Součástí práce je výzkumné šetření, které je zaměřeno na postoj žáků druhého ročníku středních škol k užívání návykových látek. Jako nejvhodnější výzkumnou metodu pro výzkum jsme zvolili šetření kvantitativního typu, konkrétně dotazník. Data získaná z dotazníků jsou následně vyhodnocena diagramy a popsána. Závěr práce se věnuje diskuzi výsledků a doporučením pro praxi.

Abstract:

The theme of this bachelor thesis is an abuse of addictive substances among students of secondary schools in the county of Ústí nad Labem in Czech republic. The document is divided into theoretical and empirical part. It contains several on-theory-focused chapters that contain a brief history of addictive substances, addictive substances abuse in adolescence, characteristics of selected drugs, addiction problems, definition of a developmental period of adolescence as well as information on prevention of addictive substances abuse. The empirical part of the thesis contains a research which is focused on the attitude of pupils in second year of high school and their opinion on addictive substances abuse. As the most appropriate research method a quantitative type survey with use of a questionnaire was chosen. Data obtained from the filled-in questionnaires were evaluated and described with use of diagrams. The final part of the thesis is devoted to the discussion of the results and recommendations for practice.
