Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá mapováním a vývojem image společnosti Benzina, která v České republice provozuje nerozsáhlejší síť čerpacích stanic. Benzina působí na českém trhu od roku 1958 a za svou mnohaletou historii prošla mnoha vzestupy i pády. Z hlediska zkoumání image, a toho jak je vnímána veřejností, je zajímavým objektem. Teoretická část je věnovaná představení společnosti, její historii a aspektům trhu pohonných hmot. Dále jsou zde popsány pojmy jako image a corporate identity dostupné z literatury. Prakticko-analytická část se zabývá detailnějším rozborem činností Benziny, které nemalou měrou přispěly k formování její image. Součástí této kapitoly jsou také informace o konkurenci společnosti, rozbor rozsáhlé rekonstrukce čerpacích stanic a výsledky realizovaných vý-zkumů o image společnosti. Projektová část je věnována aktuálnímu průzkumu image spo-lečnosti, který předkládá současné vnímání firmy veřejností. Obsahem této kapitoly je i porovnání jednotlivých výzkumů a zhodnocení, jak velký vliv měla rekonstrukce čerpacích stanic na tuto značku.

Abstract:

This thesis concentrates on the mapping and evolution of the public image of the Benzina company, which runs the largest network of fuel filling stations in the Czech Republic. Benzina has been present on the Czech market since 1958 and its long history has been full of ups and downs. It is therefore an interesting subject from the point of view of corporate image research and public perception. The theoretical part introduces the company and deals also with its history and different aspects of the fuel market. Moreover, the notions available from literature as corporate image and corporate identity are described here. The practical-analytical part deals with a more detailed analysis of the activities of Benzina that have largely contributed to the forming of its public image. This chapter also contains in-formation about the company's competitors, an analysis of the extensive reconstruction of fuel filling stations and the results of public opinion research that has taken place so far. The project part is dedicated to the recent survey on the company's image explaining the current public perception of the company. This chapter also contains a comparison of sev-eral surveys and evaluations on how the extensive reconstruction of fuel filling stations has influenced the brand.
