The development of the perception of Babicka Bozena Nemcova

Abstract:

Božena Němcová patří mezi nejvýznamnější české spisovatele 19. století. Jejím nejslavnějším dílem je próza Babička s podtitulem Obrazy z venkovského života. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem recepce výše zmiňovaného díla od 19.století až po současnost. Prvním recenzím Babičky z roku 1855 a jejich společným znakům je věnována samostatná kapitola, konkrétně kapitola první. Druhá kapitola představuje stěžejní část této práce. V jejích jednotlivých tematicky zaměřených podkapitolách jsou nastíněny různé úhly pohledu na problematiku týkající se postav, prostředí, jazyka, slohových prostředků, literární inspirace a kompozice. Třetí a zároveň poslední kapitola je věnována nejnovějším pohledům na Babičku. Cílem této bakalářské práce je tedy postihnout jednotlivé změny, které v recepci daného díla a jeho jednotlivých částí proběhly v průběhu 19. - 21. století.

Abstract:

Božena Němcová is one of the most significant Czech writers of the 19th century. Her prose Babička with the subtitle Obrazy z venkovského života represents her most famous literary work. This bachelor thesis deals with the development of the previously mentioned novel from the 19th century to the present. An individual section, specifically the first chapter, is dedicated to the first reviews of the year 1855 and to their common features. The second chapter represents the main part of this thesis. In its individual, thematically aimed sub-chapters, different points of view on the question of characters, setting, language, stylistic devices, literary inspiration and composition are outlined. The third chapter focuses on the latest views on Babička. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to depict individual changes in the reception of this literary work and of its particular parts noted from the 19th to the 21st century.
