Projects Focused on Inhibiting the Spread of Fake News, Hoaxes and Propaganda

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá vybranými českými projekty, které bojují proti škodlivému vlivu dezinformací, fake news, hoaxů a propagandy v českém prostředí. Hlavní část práce spočívá v obsahové analýze, která zkoumá činnost těchto projektů, a jejich výstupy na webu nebo sociálních sítích. Dále je analyzován také obraz projektů v předních médiích, klasifikovaných jako média dezinformační. Práce rovněž uvádí, které subjekty jsou nejčastěji bráněny proti těmto škodlivým vlivům a praktikám, a také kdo jsou jejich nejčastější původci. Závěr práce uvádí stručná doporučení změn marketingové komunikace.

Abstract:

The focus of this thesis are selected Czech projects that fight against the harmful effects of misinformation, fake news, hoaxes and propaganda in the Czech Republic. The main part of the thesis consists of content analysis that looks into the activities of these projects and their outputs on the web or social networks. The image of projects in leading media, classified as disinformation media, is further analyzed. Another objective of this thesis are subjects that are the most often defended against these influences and practices, and who their most common originators are. The thesis is concluded with recommendations for changes in marketing communication.
