The Loss, Disease and Death in Literature for Children and Youth

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na téma nemoci, ztráty a smrti v literatuře pro děti a mládež. V první části je vymezeno tabu smrti ve společnosti. Rovněž obsahuje poznatky z psychologie a pedagogiky o rodině, ztrátě rodiče. Zaměříme se na vnímání a prožívání smutku dítětem. Stěžejní část se zabývá analýzou a interpretací vybraných literárních děl a pokusem najít vhodným způsobem, jak dítě s problematikou nemoci a ztráty seznámit.

Abstract:

The work is focused on the topic of illness, loss and death in literatur efor children and youth. The taboo of death in society is defined in the first part. It also contains findings from psychology about the family, the loss of a parent. We will focus on the child's perception and experience of grief. The core part deals with the analysis and interpretation of selected literary works and an attempt to find a suitable way to introduce the issue of illness and loss to the child.
