Foreign Language Teaching: Didactical Proposal based on Mexican Narco Culture

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the socio cultural part of the language teaching. First part of the thesis describes the theoretical base which includes applied terminology, language teaching methods, Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, its common reference levels and the competences developed in the language lessons. The attention is paid to the language competences as well as to the development of the socio cultural and literal knowledge. The second part of the thesis is based on the worksheets proposal for Spanish language students, level B2-C1. These worksheets are prepared also in the version for teachers and it includes objectives and working procedures of activities. This didactic material develops the language skills, literal and socio cultural knowledge. The last mentioned part is actually the base of this thesis because of the topic which connects activities in this didactic material: the narco culture. The thesis focuses on the Mexican narco culture presented in the introduction of the second part of the work.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se orientuje na složku sociokultury v rámci výuky cizího jazyka. První část práce je věnována teoretickému základu, ve kterém je představena základní terminologická báze, metody výuky cizích jazyků, Společný evropský referenční rámec pro jazyky, jeho rozdělení na společné referenční úrovně a dále stanovení jednotlivých kompetencí rozvíjených při výuce cizího jazyka. Pozornost je věnována jak rozvoji jazykových kompetencí, tak i výuce sociokultury a literatury. Druhá část práce představuje návrh pracovních listů pro studenty španělštiny úrovně B2-C1. Tyto pracovní listy doplněné o cíle a postupy u jednotlivých aktivit jsou připraveny i pro učitele. Zmíněný didaktický materiál si klade za cíl rozvíjet u studentů nejen jejich schopnosti jazykové, ale prohlubovat i znalosti literární a sociokulturní. Poslední zmíněná složka je základním elementem celé práce, neboť tématem, které pojí celý didaktický materiál, je tzv. narkokultura. Pro účely této práce jsme se zaměřili na mexickou narkokulturu, která je představena v úvodu do praktické části práce.
