Pupils with specific learning disabilities and changes in the approach of teachers to them

Abstract:

AbstraktBakalářská práce bude zpracována na téma specifické poruchy učení z pohledu jedinců, které od sebe dělí víc jak deset let. Hlavním cílem práce bude zjistit, jak zvládali jednotliví respondenti se specifickými poruchami učení narození v letech 1988, 1993 a 2000 vzdělávání na základních, a především středních školách a jak vnímali tito jedinci přístup ze strany pedagogů a rodičů. V této práci budou sledovány změny ve vzdělávání v průběhu studia u jednotlivých respondentů s ohledem na SPU.V teoretické části práce budou definovány specifické poruchy učení a chování jako je dyslexie, dysgrafie, dysortografie, dyspraxie, ADHD. Součástí této části je i popsání jejich etiologie, symptomy, diagnostika a možnosti reedukace. Teoretická část bude zpracována na základě analýzy a následné syntézy informací získaných z odborných zdrojů relevantních ke studované problematice. Součástí budou i komparace.Úvodem praktické části bude zmíněna metodologie průzkumného šetření. Cílem praktické části bude na základě sestavení tři kazuistik, dvou mužů a jedné ženy, zjistit, jak žáci se specifickými poruchami učení zvládali výuku na střední škole. Přičemž se jednotliví žáci liší v tom, kdy navštěvovali střední školu. Průzkumné šetření bude založeno především na metodě polostrukturovaného hloubkového rozhovoru, pozorování a obsahové analýze výsledků činnosti a dokumentace jednotlivých respondentů. Hlavním cílem průzkumného šetření bude stanovit, kdy byly danému respondentovi poruchy učení diagnostikovány, kým byly diagnostikovány a jaké metody reedukace byly použity. Další oblastí v práci je zjistit, jak se cítili tito respondenti ve školním prostředí, jaké měli zkušenosti se začleněním do kolektivu, zda jim individuální přístup ze strany učitelů pomohl překonat obtíže s učením či ne a jakým způsobem byli nápomocni rodiče oslovených respondentů. Důležitou částí je i problematika přechodu ze základní školy na školu střední a zvládání tohoto náročného období u jednotlivých respondentů. Abstract:

AbstractSpecific learning disorders is the topic of the bachelor work, there are respondents’ views with more than ten years long period, which divides them. The main goal of the work is to find out how every respondents with specific learning disorders, who were born in 1988, 1993, 2000 managed their studies at elementary and secondary schools. Also, how they experienced teachers and parents’ attitudes. This research pursues changes during the education with each respondent with regard of specific learning disorders.In theoretical part there will be defined specific learning disorders and behaviour such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dysorthography, dyspraxia, ADHD. The part of the work is a description of aetiology, symptoms, diagnosis and the possibility of re-education. Theoretical part will be done according to the analysis and then synthesis of information found in expertise material relevant with the subject of study. There will be also comparative work.Methodology of the research will be mentioned in practical part. The aim of practical part will content of three cases – two men and a woman. The research will be based on the method of semi-structured interview, observation and content analyse of the results of actions and documentation of the respondents. The main target of the research will be revelation of the time when the learning disorders had been diagnosed with the respondents and by whom and which methods of re-education had been used.The other area of the work is to find how the respondents were feeling at schools and what kind of experience they had with integration in the groups and whether individual attitude of the teachers helped them overcome their problems with study or not, and if the parents of respondents were helpful. The important part is a change from elementary to secondary school and dealing with this demanding period with every single respondent.
