Interactive board in Foreign Language Teaching

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is about information and communication technologies, especially the interactive whiteboard and its use in foreign language teaching at primary school. Main part of the thesis deals with the concept of information and communication technologies, their importance and new methods that brought about the application of ICT in education. Another part of the work deals with an interactive whiteboard, its possible use in foreign language teaching. They are characterized by the teacher competencies that are necessary for the appropriate use of interactive whiteboard in foreign language teaching. There is a range of interactive books mentioned on the Czech market, and emphasized the role played by the interactive exercises in foreign language teaching. In conclusion, little research is done in elementary school. This research summarizes the advantages, disadvantages and popularity of the interactive whiteboard in teaching.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o informačních a komunikačních technologiích, především o interaktivní tabuli a jejím využití v cizojazyčné výuce na základní škole. Úvodní část bakalářské práce se zabývá pojmem informační a komunikační technologie, jejich významem a novými metodami, které sebou přinesla aplikace informačních a komunikačních technologií ve výuce. Další část bakalářské práce je již věnována interaktivní tabuli, možnostem jejího využití v cizojazyčné výuce. Jsou zde charakterizovány kompetence učitele, které jsou nutné pro vhodné využívání interaktivní tabule v cizojazyčné výuce. Je zde i zmíněna nabídka interaktivních učebnic na českém trhu a zdůrazněna role, kterou hrají interaktivní cvičení v cizojazyčné výuce. V závěru je proveden malý výzkum na základní škole. Tento výzkum shrnuje výhody, nevýhody a oblíbenost interaktivní tabule ve výuce.
