Social Child and Youth Care in Bystřice nad Pernštejnem in the First Half of the 20th Century

Abstract:

V diplomové práci jsem se zaměřila na problematiku sociální péče o děti a mládež v první polovině 20. století na příkladu soudního okresu Bystřice nad Pernštejnem. Mým záměrem bylo zhodnotit podpůrnou péči o děti a mládež v uvedeném období, podívat se na konkrétní možnosti a postupy této pomoci. Zároveň jsem sledovala, do jaké míry se v této věci angažovaly ženy. Práci jsem rozčlenila do několika částí. Bylo nezbytné zmínit obecná pravidla sociální péče o děti a mládež zanesená v legislativě a dále sledovat jejich postupné doplňování a proměny. Na sociální otázku Bystřicka měl rovněž vliv vývoj lokality, který jsem stručně nastínila. Podrobně jsem rozebrala jednotlivé formy sociální pomoci směřované k dětem a jejich dopady.

Abstract:

The dissertation deals with the problem of social care of children and youth in the first half of the 20th century on the example of the region Bystřice nad Pernštejnem. The aim of the paper was to evaluate the supportive care of the children and youth in the mentioned period, searched the concrete possibilities and processes connected with this help. At the same time I searched for the importance of the role of the women which become involved in this matter. The paper was segmented to several parts. It was necessary to mention the general rules of the social care of the children and youth that were included in the legislature and their gradual changes and replenishment. The important role of the social care in the bystřický region played the development of this locality which is briefly included. I closely analyzed individual forms of the social help for the children and their impacts.
