Impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on high school students with a specific learning disability

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem pandemie Covid-19 na středoškolské studenty se specifickou poruchou učení. Nejprve přibližuje průběh počátku pandemie, poté se soustředí na historii specifických poruch učení a na cílovou skupinu práce, tedy na středoškolské studenty se specifickou poruchou učení. Popisuje problematiku samotných poruch učení, jejich příčiny, diagnostiku a reedukaci. Kvalitativní výzkum k této práci vychází ze skupinových rozhovorů se studenty středních školy, kteří mají alespoň jednu specifickou poruchu učení.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on high school students with specific learning disabilities. First, it describes the course of the beginning of the pandemic, then it focuses on the history of specific learning disabilities and the target group of work, i.e. high school students with specific learning disabilities. It describes the issue of learning disabilities, their causes, diagnosis and reeducation. Qualitative research for this work is based on group interviews with high school students who have at least one specific learning disability.
