The Rise of the Atomic Age : the Bomb as a Moral Question
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou vývoje a vzrůstu atomového věku. Zkoumá morální, politické a diplomatické příčiny svržení prvních atomových bomb na Hirošimu a Nagasaki. Pomocí nejrůznějších zdrojů informací reflektuje zdravotní a společenské následky těchto událostí a zvažuje závažnost aktuální nukleární hrozby.
Abstract:
The Bachelor Degree Thesis engages in the issue of development and rise of the Atomic Age. It examines moral, political and diplomatic causes of dropping the first atomic bombs on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. With the help of various sources of information the thesis reflects on medical and social effects of the bombings and considers the relevancy of the actual nuclear threat.
