Abstract:

Tématem této diplomové práce je efektivita ve vedení a řízení lidí. V současné době díky globalizaci, narůstající konkurenci a vzrůstajícímu tlaku na pracovníky, se začíná pozornost obracet zpět k zaměstnancům. Spokojení, výkonní a loajální zaměstnanci znamenají velkou konkurenční výhodu, jelikož to jsou právě oni, kdo utváří první i konečný dojem o samotné organizaci. Teoreticko metodologická část je rozdělena na tři hlavní kapitoly: komunikaci, efektivitu ve vedení a řízení lidí a koučink. Kapitola o komunikaci je zaměřena na komunikaci v týmu, efektivní a neefektivní komunikaci a asertivitu. Tato kapitola je velice důležitá, jelikož bez správné komunikace manažer nikdy nezvládne efektivně řídit a vést lidi. Druhá kapitola v sobě skrývá témata, jako je jednání manažera a jeho klíčové vlastnosti, styly vedení a charakteristiky pracovního týmu. Poslední kapitola se věnuje koučování - jedné z nejefektivnějších metod, jak vést a řídit zaměstnance. Aplikační část je prostředkem pro potvrzení/vyvrácení zadaných hypotéz. Ověření teoretických faktů a hypotéz v praxi proběhne formou řízeného rozhovoru s týmovým manažerem jedné významné mezinárodní společnosti.

Abstract:

The theme of the diploma thesis is effectiveness of people leadership and management. Currently, owing to globalization, ever growing competition and pressure exerted on employees, a new wave of attention is being focused on them. Contented, efficient and loyal employees represent a substantial competitive edge due to the fact that it is just these employees who make the first as well as the last impression of the organization itself. The theoretical-methodological part is divided into three main chapters: communication, people leadership and management effectiveness, and coaching. The chapter dealing with communication is focused on team communication, effective and ineffective communication as well as assertiveness. This is the core chapter because no manager can effectively manage and lead people without the right communication. The second chapter focuses on topics such as behaviour of a manager and his/her key qualities, management styles and work team characteristics. The last chapter is devoted to coaching – one of the most effective methods how to lead and manage employees. The application part is serve as a tool for verification, or, alternatively, falsification of the hypotheses. It will be carried out in the form of a guided dialogue with a team manager of an important international company.
