Abstract:

Wolfgang N. Kraus belongs to the young generation of emerging Austrian writers. The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to introduce the author, as yet not well known even in Austria or elsewhere in the world. The whole thesis is a kind of author's biography and analysis of his so far only published book „Momente“. Mentioned are the author's achievements and awards. Since I had opportunity to discuss with the author about his work the thesis ends with the musings of „double-reading“, which means how the reader is influenced by knowing background of the individual stories.

Abstract:

Wolfgang N. Kraus patří k mladé generaci začínajících rakouských spisovatelů. Cílem této práce je autora představit, neboť doposud není příliš známý a to ani v Rakousku, ani v jinde ve světě. Celá práce je tedy jakousi biografií autora a analýzou jeho zatím jediné vydané publikace „Momente“. Zmíněny jsou i autorovy úspěchy a ocenění. Vzhledem k tomu, že jsem měla možnost s autorem o jeho díle komunikovat je práce zakončena zamyšlením se nad „dvojčtením“, tedy nad tím, jak čtenáře ovlivní znalost pozadí jednotlivých příběhů.
