Abstract:

Finanční analýza je velmi důležitá a bez ní žádný podnik nemůže existovat. Poskytuje mu data o jeho financích jak z minulosti, tak ze současnosti i budoucnosti. Jejím cílem je zjistit jeho zdraví a připravit podklady pro finanční plány. Cílem práce je vypracovat kompletní finanční analýzu podniku Seznam.cz a výsledky této analýzy srovnat s jinými subjekty v totožném oboru podnikání, konkrétně s podniky Centrum.cz a Google.cz. Bakalářská práce prezentuje informace o finanční analýze, jejich uživatelích, zdrojích a ukazatelích potřebných k jejímu sestavení a vyhodnocení finanční situace podniku. Dále uvádí její výhody a nevýhody, včetně popisu jejích jednotlivých ukazatelů, jimiž jsou rozdílové ukazatele, absolutní ukazatele a poměrové ukazatele. Následně popisuje bankrotní a bonitní modely a ekonomickou přidanou hodnotu včetně vzorců pro výpočty. Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na finanční situaci portálu Seznam.cz, firmu popisuje a následně provádí její finanční analýzu. Analýza je provedena nejen pomocí absolutních, rozdílových a poměrových ukazatelů, ale také metodami komplexního hodnocení podniku, tedy bankrotními a bonitními modely a ekonomickou přidanou hodnotou. Ze zjištěných výsledků finanční analýzy vyplívá, že Seznam.cz je finančně zdravý a vůči konkurenci má silnou pozici. Je však potřeba sledovat vývoj konkurence, trendy a zájem uživatelů. Hospodářská krize, která začala v roce 2008, na něj neměla negativní vliv.

Abstract:

Financial analysis is considered an essential document and no corporate entity can exist without having it. It provides data both on its finance in the past and in the current as well as in future periods. Its aim is to find out its corporate health and prepare background documents for financial planning. The objective of this bachelor’s thesis is to process a complete financial analysis of the company Seznam.cz and then to compare them with other corporate entities within identical business field such as with Centrum.cz and Google.cz companies. Thus, the bachelor’s thesis presents information about financial analysis, their users, resources and ratio indicators needed to its compilation and evaluation of the company financial situation. Thereinafter, it specifies its advantages and disadvantages, including the description of its individual ratios which consist of distinction, absolute and ratio indicators. It subsequently describes bankruptcy and site models and economic added value, including formulas to be calculated. The Bachelor’s thesis focuses on the company Seznam.cz’s financial situation, describes the organization and consequently executes its financial analysis. It shall be elaborated not only by absolute, distance and ratio indicators, but also based on methods of complex company evaluation by means of bankruptcy and site models and by economic added value. The outcome of financial analysis’ results found on the company Seznam.cz is that the company is financially sound and holds a strong competitive position in comparison with its competitors. Though, competitors’ progress and development together with trends and potential interests of users must be followed. The economic crisis which commenced in 2008 had no impact on this company, in particular.
