Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je na základě odborných zdrojů kriticky posoudit a shrnout současné poznatky o úloze mikrobiomu v primární a sekundární prevenci chronických onemocnění. Tato práce má nastínit důležitost skladby mikrobiomu při vzniku převážně západních onemocnění - jako je rakovina, alergie, cukrovka, astma, autismus, zánětlivá onemocnění střeva ad. Dnes již víme, že mikrobiom hraje důležitou roli při vzniku všech těchto chorob, ovlivňuje naši váhu, náladu a dlouhodobou tělesnou i duševní pohodu. Vědecké studie byly vyhledávány pomocí dostupné databáze Google Scholar a jsou zároveň primárními zdroji pro tuto přehledovou studii. Práce je založená na evaluačním a srovnávacím přístupu k těmto primárním zdrojům ve zvolené oblasti. Výsledkem práce je výčet potencionálních ukazatelů našich nemocí i psychické nepohody. Přirozené porody, změna jídelníčku, rozvaha při užívání léků či antibiotik, méně dezinfikované domácnosti, význam prebiotik a probiotik pro zdraví našich střev a tím i celého organizmu a v neposlední řadě i transplantace stolice mohou být mozaikou v prevenci či řešením již vzniklé nemoci. Práce je zaměřená převážně na střevní mikrobiom, ač okrajově zmiňuje i mikrobiom orální, kožní, mikrobiom dýchacích cest aj.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is, based on professional sources, to critically assess and summarize the current knowledge about the role of the microbiome in primary and secondary prevention of chronic diseases. This thesis is to show the importance of the composition of the microbiome in the emergence of mainly Western countries diseases - such as cancer, allergy, diabetes, asthma, autism, inflammatory intestinal diseases, etc. We already know today that the microbiome plays an important role in the development of all of these diseases, in affects to our weight, mood and long-term physical and mental well-being. Scientific studies are the primary sources for this review study and were searched by using the available Google Scholar. The thesis is based on an evaluation and comparative approach to these primary sources in the selected area. The result of this composition is a list of potential indicators of our diseases and mental discomforts. Natural childbirths, a change in diet, balance with usage of medications or antibiotics, less disinfected households, the importance of prebiotics and probiotics for the health of our intestines and thus the whole organism and last but not least the stool transplantations can be a mosaic in prevention or solving diseases. The thesis is mainly focused on the intestinal microbiome, although it marginally mentions the oral microbiome, skin, respiratory microbiome, etc.
