Ústředním tématem vypracované bakalářské práce jsou zkušenosti s užíváním návykových látek dětí staršího školního věku. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. První je teoretická, která se zabývá historií návykových látek a drog obecně, návykem a vznikem závislosti, faktory, které zvyšují riziko vzniku závislosti, popisem jednotlivých návykových látek a teorií prevence.
