Financial analysis of the company Nestlé Česko s.r.o.

Abstract:

Předmětem této práce je finanční analýza společnosti Nestlé Česko s.r.o. v letech 2014 až 2017. Jejím hlavním cílem je analyzovat a následně vyhodnotit finanční situaci společnosti na základě elementárních metod finanční analýzy, a to absolutními i poměrovými ukazateli a také pomocí soustav ukazatelů jako jsou bankrotní a bonitní modely. Tato práce je složena ze dvou hlavních částí, z metodické a praktické části.V metodické části je uveden účel a význam finanční analýzy. Dále jsou uvedeni, její uživatelé, zdroje odkud se čerpají informace potřebné pro její zpracování a popsány jednotlivé techniky a metody finanční analýzy.Druhá část, praktická, uvádí analyzovanou společnost Nestlé Česko s.r.o., na kterou jsou společně s jejími daty aplikovány poznatky uvedené v metodické části. Pro lepší zhodnocení finanční situace sledované společnosti jsou výsledky finanční analýzy porovnány s konkurenčními společnostmi Mondelez Czech Republic s.r.o. a Ferrero Česká s.r.o.

Abstract:

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the financial analysis of Nestle Česko s.r.o. in a specific time period, starting from 2014 to 2017. The main purpose of this thesis is to analyse and furthermore evaluate the financial position of the corporation, based on the elementary methods of financial analysis as well as absolute and proportional indicators in addition to collection of indexes, such as bankruptcy and credit scoring models.This thesis is divided into two main sections, those being the methodological and practical part. The methodological part contains the purpose of the financial analysis, their users, different sources that are used to gain information related to the subject as well as the description of certain techniques and methods of the analysis. The practical part introduces the analysed corporation Nestle Česko s.r.o, to which their data as well as mentioned models and techniques from the methodological part are applied. The results were compared to annual reports of Nestle´s biggest competitors: Mondelez Czech Republic s.r.o and Ferrero Česká s.r.o, to make the analysis more precise.
