Nursing care of a pacient with acute pancreatitis

Abstract:

Ve své bakalářské práci jsem se zaměřila na ošetřovatelskou péči o nemocné s akutní pankreatitidou. Práce jsem rozdělila na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části nejprve stručně popisuji anatomii a fyziologii slinivky břišní, dále charakterizuji akutní zánětlivé onemocnění pankreatu. Zabývám se zde etiologií, rozdělením onemocnění dle patologických změn tkáně a dle závažnosti. Poté se věnuji klinickému obrazu onemocnění, diagnostice, léčbě konzervativní i chirurgické a komplikacím. Dále se zaměřuji na ošetřovatelskou péči o pacienta s akutní pankreatitidou a edukační činnost sestry. V praktické části popisuji dva případy akutní pankreatitidy, z nichž jedna je lehká, edematózní a druhá středně těžká, hemoragicko - nekrotická. Zaměřuji se na průběh hospitalizace obou pacientů a vytvářím ošetřovatelský proces na základě ošetřovatelského modelu Majory Gordonové. Dále pak vytvářím univerzální ošetřovatelský plán pro nemocné s akutní pankreatitidou a edukační plány zaměřené na změnu životosprávy a obsluhu enterální pumpy.

Abstract:

In my bachelory thesis, I focus on treatment of patients suffering from acute pancreatitis. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, I briefly describe anatomy and physiology of pancreas and characterize acute inflammatory disease of pancreas. I deal with the etiology, categorize the disease according to pathological changes of tissue and according to the seriousness. Later on, I aim at clinical image of the disease, diagnostics, conservative and chirurgical treatment and complications. Further I focus on taking care of the acute pancreatitis patients and educational activities of nurses. In the practical part, I describe two cases of acute pancreatitis. One of them is mild, edematous and the other is of several seriousness (hemorrhagic - necrotic). I focus on the progression of hospitalization of both patients and create the nursing process on the basis of the nursing modesl of Majora Gordon. I also create a universal nursing care plan for patients with acute pancreatitis and educational plans aiming at the change of the way of living and manipulation with the enteral pump.
