Inclusive Education and Integration of Ukrainian pupils in Primary schools

Abstract:

Abstrakt Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na objasnění pojmů inkluze a integrace žáků základních škol, na práci pedagogických pracovníků, formativní hodnocení a zejména na práci s ukrajinskými žáky na prvním stupni základních škol. Cílem práce je na základě šetření ukázat nelehkou situaci a ztíženou práci pedagogických pracovníků v základních školách s přílivem ukrajinských žáků, potřebu a důležitost asistentů pedagoga a seznámit s možnostmi práce s cizinci. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí: teoretické a praktické – výzkumné. V teoretické části jsou popsány možnosti pomoci žákům s individuálními vzdělávacími potřebami z hlediska legislativy a podpůrná opatření pro tyto žáky. S aktuální situací spojenou s válkou na Ukrajině je pozornost zaměřena na začlenění ukrajinských žáků do našich základních škol. Seznamuji s některými dostupnými materiály a publikacemi věnovanými výuce ukrajinských dětí. Praktická část se zabývá integrací ukrajinských žáků na prvním stupni základních škol. Zahrnuje cíle, metodiku a analýzu výzkumného šetření. Vyhodnocuji čtyři kazuistiky a provádím analýzu dotazníkového šetření zaměřeného na zkušenosti s žáky z Ukrajiny na prvním stupni základních škol. Uvádím příspěvky a náměty pedagogických pracovníků. Získané poznatky v bakalářské práci by mohly inspirovat a nastínit možnosti práce při vzdělávání ukrajinských žáků, přenést alespoň zprostředkovaně již nabyté zkušenosti pedagogických pracovníků a ukázat problémy, se kterými se pedagogičtí pracovníci potýkají.

Abstract:

Abstract This Bachelor thesis is focused on clarifying the concepts of inclusion and integration of primary school pupils, the work of teaching staff, formative assessment and especially work with Ukrainian pupils in the first grade of primary schools. The aim of the work is to show, based on the investigation, the difficult situation and the difficult work of pedagogical workers in primary schools with an influx of Ukrainian pupils, the need and importance of teaching assistants and to learn about the possibilities of working with foreigners. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical – research. The theoretical part describes the possibilities of helping pupils with their individual educational needs from the point of view of legislation and support measures for these pupils. With the current situation related to the war in Ukraine, attention is focused on the integration of Ukrainian pupils into our primary schools. I introduce readers to some available materials and publications dedicated to teaching Ukrainian children. The practical part deals with the integration of Ukrainian pupils at the first grade of primary schools. It includes the objectives, methodology and analysis of the research investigation. I evalute four case studies and conduct an analysis of a questionnaire survey focused on experience with students from Ukraine in the first grade of primary schools. I present contributions and topics of teaching staff. The knowledge gained in the Bachelor thesis could inspire and outline the possibilities of work with and education of Ukrainian pupils, transfer, at least indirectly, the already acquired experience of teaching staff and show the problems that teaching staff face.
