Assessment of the financial health of the company Nutrend D.S., a. s.

Abstract:

Zhodnocení finančního zdraví společnosti Nutrend D.S., a.s. je důležitým faktorem zejména pro její vlastníky a finanční management, ale může poskytnout podstatné informace i celé řadě dalších uživatelů. Pro přehled o finančním stavu společnosti je nezbytné provést finanční analýzu podniku s využitím dostupných účetních výkazů. Cílem je zhodnotit dosavadní vývoj firmy v období 2017-2021, odhalit silné a slabé stránky a na základě výsledků navrhnout doporučená opatření, jež vývoj optimalizují do budoucna. Analýza je provedena na základě elementárních metod přejatých z odborné literatury. Pracuje zejména s finančními ukazateli a s pohledem bankrotních a bonitních modelů. Výsledky analýzy jsou mezi sebou porovnány v čase a s hodnotami odvětví, jehož je Nutrend D.S. součástí. Diskuze je věnována limitům práce a následnému vyhodnocení analýzy doplněným o navrhovaná opatření. Závěr je stručným souhrnem celé práce.

Abstract:

Assessing the financial health of Nutrend D.S., a.s. is an essential factor, especially for its owners and financial management, but can also provide relevant information to a wide range of other users. In order to get an overview of the financial health of the company, it is necessary to perform a financial analysis of the company using the available financial statements. The aim is to evaluate the company's development to present in the period 2017-2021, to identify strengths and weaknesses and, based on the results, to propose recommended steps that will optimise the development in the future. The analysis is performed on the basis of elementary methods adopted from the academic literature. In the first place, it works with financial indicators and with the perspective of bankruptcy and creditworthiness models. The results of the analysis are compared with each other over time and with the values of the sector of which Nutrend D.S. is a part. The discussion is dedicated to the limits of the work and the following assessment of the analysis, complemented by suggested actions. The conclusion is a brief summary of the entire work.
