Implementation of information security management methodologies in the environment of small and medium-sized enterprises

Abstract:

Organizace si stále více uvědomují význam informací a důležitost jejich zabezpečení, protože jejich ztráta, vyzrazení nebo nedostupnost může mít závažné následky. Pro malé a střední podniky je často problematické nalézt a následně zavést vhodné postupy a opatření pro zabezpečení informací, což zvyšuje bezpečnostní rizika. Tato práce ve své teoretické části popisuje dostupné metodiky využívané k zabezpečení informací a ve své praktické části nabízí detailní postupy a doporučení, které by měly malým a středním podnikům pomoci zajistit bezpečnost svých informací.

Abstract:

Organizations are becoming increasingly aware of the value of information and the importance of ensuring its security, as the loss, disclosure, or unavailability of information can have serious consequences. However, small and medium-sized enterprises often find it challenging to identify and implement appropriate information security guidelines and countermeasures, which increases security risks. This thesis, in its theoretical part, describes the available methodologies used to secure information and, in its practical part, offers detailed procedures and recommendations to help small and medium-sized enterprises ensure the security of their information.
