Specifics of Substitute Family Care for a Roma Child

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na téma náhradní rodinné péče o romské dítě, ve které hraje klíčovou roli budování identity přijatého romského dítěte náhradními rodiči, ale také sociálními pracovníky poskytujícími doprovázející službu celé rodině. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a na část aplikační. Cílem teoretické části je vymezit specifika náhradní rodinné péče o romské dítě, která je poskytována neromskými náhradními rodiči. Aplikační část práce si klade za cíl ilustrovat na konkrétním případu neromské náhradní rodiny, jak je podporována identita jejich přijatých romských dětí do náhradní rodinné péče.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the theme of substitute family care of a Roma child, which plays a key role in building the identity of taken Roma child by substitute parents, but also in the work of social workers who provide accompanying service to the whole family. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The aim of the theoretical part is to define the specifics of substitute family care for Roma children, which is provided by non-Roma substitute parents. Application part of the thesis aims to illustrate the particular case of non-Roma foster families, how is supported by the identity of Roma children taken into substitute family care.
