Alternatives for solving situations of families in the care of OSPOD

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na posouzení podmínek a potřeb různých typů alternativních rodin, které spadají do evidence orgánu sociálně-právní ochrany dětí (OSPOD). Úvodní část práce byla pojata jako vhled do dané problematiky, zabývám se zde rodinou obecně a jejím vlivem na osobnost dítěte, dále funkčností rodiny a také tím, jak je vymezena sociální práce s rodinou v rámci orgánu sociálně-právní ochrany dětí. Cílem výzkumné části bakalářské práce bylo pomocí kazuistik a jejich analýzy popsat konkrétní postup OSPOD v kontextu obecných možností, případně analyzovat kritické momenty postupu. Jako hlavní metodu práce jsem zvolila polostrukturovaný rozhovor, pozorování a kvalitativní zpracování případových studií ve formě kazuistik. V nich jsem popsala případy tří konkrétních rodin a následně jsem vypracovala analýzy, které reflektují i konkrétní postupy práce sociálního pracovníka OSPOD v procesu intervence. V závěru bakalářské práce uvádím zhodnocení analyzovaných postupů intervence a preventivních opatření. Zároveň zde uvádím doporučení, která se týkají jednotlivých případů, ale i problematiky spolupráce mezi rodiči a pracovníky OSPOD obecně

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of assessment the conditions and needs of various alternative types of families, who are entrusted to the care of a minor in the records of the Body of Social and Legal Protection of Children (OSPOD). The introductory part of the work was conceived as an insight into the issue. Where I deal with the family in general and its impact on the child's personality, family function and how social work with the family is defined within the social and legal protection of children. The aim of the research part of the bachelor thesis was to use case studies and analysis of these case studies to describe a specific OSPOD procedure in the context of general possibilities, or to analyze critical moments of the procedure and assess the adequacy of other potential alternatives. As the main method of work, I chose a semi-structured interview, observation and qualitative processing of case studies in the form of case studies. Within the individual case studies, I described the cases of three specific families and subsequently developed analyzes that reflect the specific work procedures of the OSPOD social worker in the intervention process. At the end of the bachelor thesis, I present an evaluation of the analyzed intervention procedures and preventive measures. At the same time, I present recommendations that relate to individual cases, but also to the issue of cooperation between parents and OSPOD staff in general.
