The ethical dilemma of social service employees working with senior citizens

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou etických dilemat, se kterými se setkávají pracovníci v sociálních službách při práci se seniory. Cílem bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, s jakými konkrétními dilematy se pracovníci v sociálních službách setkávají a jak zjištěná dilemata řeší. Pro výzkum bakalářské práce jsem použila kvalitativní výzkumné šetření a jako techniku sběru dat jsem použila polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Výzkumného šetření se účastnilo 8 respondentek, pracujících na pozici pracovníka v sociálních službách, v domově pro seniory.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with issues of ethical dilemmas encountered by workers in social services when working with seniors. The goal of the bachelor thesis was to find out with which concrete dilemmas the social services workers meet and how the dilemmas are solved. For bachelor research I used a qualitative research survey and used a semi-structured interview as a data collection technique. The survey was attended by 8 respondents working for the social services worker in the home for the elderly.
