The use of tablets in kindergarten teaching

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá názory na problematiku tabletů v mateřských školách. V teoretické části jsou zahrnuty základní poznatky o dítěti předškolního věku, především o jeho schopnostech a vývoji. Dále se zaměřuje na informační a komunikační technologie, konkrétně na tablet, jeho přínosy a rizika. Dále se práce zabývá výzkumy na toto téma. Některé z výzkumů jsou podrobněji popsány. Empirická část zkoumá, jaká pozitiva a negativa jsou spojena s používáním tabletů v mateřských školách. Bylo realizováno dotazníkové šetření u rodičů, jejichž dítě chodí do mateřské školy, a u učitelů mateřských škol. Také bylo zjišťováno, zda mají rodiče i učitelé o tablety zájem, a jak si představují práci s touto technologií. Celkem došlo ke stanovení tří hypotéz, jejichž výsledky i možná omezení výzkumu jsou projednána v diskusi.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with opinions on the issue of tablets in kindergartens. The theoretical part includes basic knowledge about preschool children, especially about their skills and development aspects. It also focuses on information and communication technologies, specifically on the tablet, its benefits and risks. The thesis also deals with research on this topic. Some of the research is describing in more detail. The empirical part examines what positives and negatives are associated with the use of tablets in kindergartens. A questionnaire survey was conducted with parents whose children attend kindergarten and with teachers from kindergarten. The other important area is focusing on parents and teachers if they are interested in tablets. Moreover, suppose they do imagine working with this technology. The thesis established three hypotheses; the author presents the results and possible limitations of the research in the discussion.
