Children´s Books of Labyrint and their use at primary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce má za cíl dokázat, že knihy z edice Raketa nakladatelství Labyrint jsou využitelné v rámci literární výchovy na 1. stupni základní školy a že nabízejí spektrum činností, jejichž prostřednictvím čtenář textům lépe porozumí. První kapitola se zabývá představením nakladatelství Labyrint a jeho edice Raketa, historickým vývojem a žánrovým a tematickým zaměřením. Druhá kapitola se věnuje čtenářství dětí mladšího školního věku, rozvoji čtenářské gramotnosti, čtenářským technikám a strategiím a také významu ilustrace v dětské knize. Třetí kapitola zmiňuje vybrané autory vydávající knihy v edici Raketa, ať už české nebo zahraniční, a přibližuje jejich tvorbu. Ve čtvrté kapitole jsou čtyři analyzované tituly s navrhovanými činnostmi k využití v literární výchově na 1. stupni ZŠ. Poslední, pátá kapitola přináší shrnutí analýz vybraných titulů a zhodnocení přínosu edice Raketa ve čtenářství dětí mladšího školního věku.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to prove that books from The Raketa edition made by Labyrint publishing house are usable within Literature lessons at Primary school and they offer spectrum of activities through which reader can better understand the texts. The first chapter is about introduction of Labyrint publishing house and The Raketa edition, historical evolution and genres and thematic focus. The second chapter focuses on readinghood of children at Primary school, evolution of reading literacy, reading technics and strategies and also the meaning of illustration in the books for children. The third chapter mentions chosen authors publishing books in the Raketa edition, Czech and foreign, and talks about their work. In the fourth chapter are four analysed books with suggested activities for using in Literature lessons at Primary school. The last, fifth chapter brings summary of analysis of chosen books and evaluation of contribution of the Raketa edition in readinghood of children at Primary school.
