Art and Education toward Authenticity

Abstract:

Disertační práce se zabývá problematikou autenticity lidské existence v kontextu výchovy a vzdělávání, úžeji v oblasti výtvarné výchovy. Zohledňuje pojem autenticity z hlediska jeho současného používání i z hlediska jeho kulturně-historické souvislosti. Ukotvuje pojem autenticity v oblasti myšlení filosofie existence a tuto perspektivu propojuje s poznatky vědy o well-being, kulturně-historickým bádáním a morální filosofií. Práce sleduje problematiku autenticity v umělecké výchově. Rozvíjí existenciální přístup k edukaci a v rámci něj pojetí relační pedagogiky. Zohledňuje přínos relační pedagogiky ve výtvarné výchově.

Abstract:

The dissertation deals with the issue of the authenticity of human existence in the context of education, more specifically in the field of art education. This thesis takes into account the concept of authenticity in terms of its contemporary use and its cultural-historical context. It anchors the notion of authenticity in the thinking of the philosophy of existence and connects this perspective with the findings of the science of well-being, cultural-historical research and moral philosophy. It traces the issue of authenticity in art education. It develops an existential approach to education and within it the concept of relational pedagogy. The Ph.D. thesis considers the contribution of relational pedagogy in art education.
