The Development of the Restrictive Immigration Laws in the United States
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis maps the development of the U.S. immigration policy from its beginning in late 19th century to present. The emphasis is put on the meaningful restrictive immigration laws of the 19th and 20th century. It also outlines the current immigration legislative addopted after 11 September, 2001, new immigration pattern and an attempt to limit the illegal entry to the country.
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce mapuje vývoj imigrační politiky politiky Spojených Států od počátku na konci 19. století až po současnost. Zvláštní důraz je kladen na významné restriktivní zákony 19. a 20. století. Práce zároveň nastiňuje současnou přistěhovaleckou legislativu přijatou po událostech z 11. září 2001, nové imigrační trendy a snahu omezit ilegální vstup do země
