Development of motor skills of ice hockey players in the category of younger pupils during the competitive ice hockey season

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problém rozdílu úrovně motorických schopností hráčů ledního hokeje v kategorii mladší žáci během závodního období v klubu HC Meteor Třemošná. V teoretické části je nutné vysvětlit ontogenetický vývoj mladšího školního věku, popsat průběh hokejové sezóny, přiblížit všechny potřebné přípravy v ledním hokeji a specifikovat jednotlivé pohybové schopnosti. Dále je v teoretické práci popsán soubor testů, který byl v diplomové práci využit. V praktické části jsou zhotovené testy, které byly využity k měření motorických schopností při vstupním, průběžným a výstupním testování. Výsledky z těchto jednotlivých období jsou také popsány v praktické části. Dále jsme využili neparametrický Wilcoxonův test pro párové hodnoty k zjištění statisticky významného rozdílu napříč měřeními.

Abstract:

The master thesis is focused on the problem of the difference in the level of motor skills of ice hockey players in the category of younger pupils during the racing season in the club HC Meteor Třemošná. In the theoretical part it is necessary to explain the ontogenetic development of younger school age, to describe the course of the hockey season, to describe all necessary preparations in ice hockey and to specify individual motor abilities. Furthermore, the theoretical work describes the set of tests that were used in the thesis. In the practical part, the tests that were used to measure the motor abilities in the initial, intermediate and final testing are made. The results from these different periods are also described in the practical part. In addition, we used the non-parametric Wilcoxon test for paired values to find statistically significant differences across measurements
