The implementation of knowledge management in a business environment

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na management znalostí dvou vybraných organizací a porovnání úrovně řízení jejich znalostí. První část popisuje význam znalostního managementu s rostoucím důrazem na lidský kapitál, schopnosti nabývat znalosti, jejich přenosu a sdílení. V druhé části jsou na základě metaanalýzy porovnány dvě vybrané organizace, které se zabývají stejnou výrobní činnost, ale mají rozdílné vlastníky. Pro zjištění klíčového kritéria stavu managementu znalostí bylo využito dotazníkového šetření, ve kterém byly zachyceny názory manažerů jednotlivých organizací. V závěru práce jsou zhodnoceny nejen zjištěné nedostatky managementu znalostí u obou organizací s určením organizace, která aplikuje management znalostí na vyšší úrovni, ale také návrhy možností jak zlepšit aplikaci managementu znalostí.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the knowledge management of two selected organizations and comparing the level of their knowledge management. The first part describes the importance of knowledge management with a growing emphasis on human capital, the ability to acquire knowledge, its transmission and sharing. In the second part, based on a meta-analysis, two selected organizations that deal with the same production activity but have different owners are compared. To determine the key criteria of knowledge management state a questionnaire survey was used, in which the views of managers of individual organizations were captured. In conclusion, there are not only the shortcomings of knowledge management at both organizations assessed (with the determination of the organization that is applying knowledge management to a higher level) but there are also ways to improve the application of knowledge management suggested.
