Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se v první části zabývá obecnou historií módy a detailněji se věnuje uměleckým autorům v Česku, kteří zapojují textil do své umělecké práce. Dále se věnuje historii portrétu a autorům, kteří fotografují módu a portréty. V další části se věnuji tématu rychlé módy - fast fashion a tématům, které s tímto slovním spojením souvisí, jako například oděvní továrny a podmínky, které poskytují pro zaměstnance. Následně navazuji pomalou módou - slow fashion v České republice a představením návrhářů, kteří v České republice působí na současné módní scéně. V praktické části vytvářím knižní publikaci, ve které jsou začínající čeští módní návrháři. Fotografuji jejich portréty v ateliérech, ve kterých pracují, a také fotografuji celkově jejich prostředí a práce, které vytvořili.

Abstract:

In the first part of my thesis, I delve into the general history of fashion and specifi- cally focus on artistic creators in the Czech Republic who incorporate textiles into their artwork. I also explore the history of portraiture and photographers who spe- cialize in fashion and portraiture. Moving on to the topic of fast fashion, I examine the related issues such as garment factories and the working conditions they pro- vide for employees. I then transition to slow fashion in the Czech Republic and introduce designers who are currently active in the fashion scene. For the practical portion of my thesis, I create a book publication featuring emerging Czech fashion designers. I photograph portraits of the designers in their stu- dios, where they work, and also capture images of their environment and the work they have created.
