Destination Management of Cultural Tourism in Vysočina Region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá destinačním managementem se zaměřením na kulturní turismus v kraji Vysočina. Práce hodnotí potenciál regionu v této oblasti a jeho rozvíjení prostřednictvím marketingových nástrojů organizace cestovního ruchu v kraji. Hlavním nástrojem tohoto hodnocení je průzkum nabídky produktů cestovního ruchu kraje Vysočina a vlastní zkušenosti získané návštěvami regionu. Na jejich základě je pak zhodnoceno, které produkty jsou pro region klíčové, které produkty jsou okrajové, jak je s nimi nakládáno a na kterých produktech se s perspektivou budoucích návštěvníků destinace pracuje a jakým způsobem. Práce se také zabývá novými formami kulturního turismu, jako jsou například diaspora tourism, náboženský turismus či kulinářský cestovní ruch. Pomocí tří případových studií se SWOT analýzami na krajinnou oblast Bystřicka, event tourism (Vysočina Arena) a Hospodářský dvůr Bohuslavice práce hodnotí přínos jejich existence, resp. uskutečnění pro cestovní ruch regionu.

Abstract:

This Master's Thesis focuses on destination management in Vysočina Region with the accent on cultural tourism aspect. It evaluates the potential of the region and its development by marketing tools and actions of the destination management company. The main method of this evaluation is a market research of the product portfolio in the tourism segment in Vysočina and my own experience from visits to the region. Based on these findings it is then summarized which products are the key ones, which of them are marginal, how it is worked with them, and which products are seen as important and preferential for the future of the destination. The thesis also looks at new forms of cultural tourism, such as diaspora tourism, religious tourism or culinary tourism in the region. Providing the readers with three case studies with SWOT analysis on Bystřicko region, event tourism (Vysočina Arena) and Hospodářský dvůr Bohuslavice it is then evaluated how beneficial their existence is.
