The Future of Tourist Information Centers in the Tourist Area of Budějovicko

Anotácia:

Cílem práce je posoudit současný stav a zájem turistů o informační centra a identifikovat budoucí přínos infocenter pro cestovní ruch včetně rozvoje aktivit a služeb v turistické oblasti Budějovicka. V teoretické části práce je shrnuta základní charakteristika turistických informačních center se zaměřením na získání a udělení klasifikačních tříd. Je vysvětlena pozice turistických informačních centrech v cestovním ruchu s návazností na destinační management. Zaměření je také na působnost a provoz doplňkových činností v informačních centrech a dále je také vymezen pojem destinace v cestovním ruchu. V analytické části je popsána turistická oblast Budějovicko a jednotlivá informační centra. V samotné analýze byla zkoumána tři informační centra z pohledu celkové návštěvnosti oproti hromadným ubytovacím zařízením a spokojenost návštěvníků a turistů, kteří informační centra navštívili. V závěru práce je souhrn návrhů pro zvýšení spokojenosti návštěvníků s informačními centry a celou turistickou oblastí.

Abstract:

The aim of the work is to assess the current state and the interest of tourists in information centers and identify the future benefits of information centers for tourism, including the development of activities and services in the tourist area of Budějovicko. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the basic characteristics of tourist information centres with a focus on obtaining and awarding classification classes. There is explained the position of tourist information centers in tourism in connestion with destination management. The focus i salso on the scope and operation of ancillary activities in informatin centres and also defines the concept of the destination of tourism. The analytical part describes the tourist area Budějovicko and individual information centers. The analysis itself examined three information centers from an overal perspective of attendance compared to collective accommodation facilities and the satisfaction of those visitors and tourists who visited the information centers. At the end of the work, the summary of proposals for increasing visitor satisfaction with information centers and the whole tourist area is offered.
