Physical educatin regimen at primary school: a classroom case study

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá pohybovou aktivitou dětí mladšího školního věku a jejich pohybovým režimem. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní pojmy, které souvisí s problematikou pohybu, pohybové aktivity a pohybového režimu. Obsahuje také výčet možností pohybové aktivity ve škole a doporučení pro školní pohybovou aktivitu. V druhé části se teorie zabývá definicí mentální retardace a problematikou individuální integrace do běžné základní školy. Ve výzkumné části se práce zajímá o pohybový režim žáků konkrétní třídy. Cílem případové studie je primárně zjistit objem a obsah pohybových aktivit žáků při pobytu ve škole a poté jej porovnat s výsledky žáka s lehkou mentální retardací. Výsledky ukazují, že převážnou část pohybu ve škole tvoří pohyb o přestávkách. Dále nepotvrzují příliš nízký objem školní pohybové aktivity, naopak ukázaly, že pohybový režim žáků dané třídy je více než uspokojivý.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the physical activity of primary school children and their physical education regime. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts related to the issue of physical activity and physical education regimen. It also contains a enumeration of options for physical activity at school and recommendation for school physical activity. The second part of the theory deals with the definition of mental retardation and the issue of individual integration into regular primary schools. The research part of the thesis is focused on physical regimen of pupils in particular class. The aim of a case study is primarily to determine the volume and content of physical activities of pupils while they are at school and then compare it with the results of a pupil with mild mental retardation. The results show that the majority of physical activities at school are the physical activities during the breaks. The results didn't confirm low school physical activity, vice versa shown that physical regimen of pupils at school is more than satisfactory.
