The reader biographies of the upper secondary Czech language and Literature teachers

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou čtenářských biografií středoškolských učitelů českého jazyka a literatury. Předmětem zájmu se stali vyučující českého jazyka a literatury s nejméně patnáctiletou praxí v daném oboru. V teoretické části práce byly nejprve představeny čtenářské biografie podle interpretací Jiřího Trávníčka, jehož publikace poskytly poučení v dané problematice. Praktická část je tvořena souborem šesti čtenářských životopisů doplněných o poznámkový aparát zahrnující knižní tituly a autory, které respondenti ve svých výpovědích zmínili. Na základě získaných dat jsme interpretovali výsledky tohoto výzkumu, vybraná zjištění komparovali s obdobně vedenou kvalifikační prací a poukázali na zásadní zjištění, která mohou být přínosná pro pedagogickou praxi a další případné výzkumné šetření.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issue of reading biographies of high school teachers of Czech language and literature. The subjects of interest are teachers of Czech language and literature with at least fifteen years of experience in the field. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the reader biographies were first introduced according to the interpretations of Jiří Trávníček, whose publications provided lessons in the subject. The practical part consists of a set of six reader biographies complemented by an annotated apparatus including book titles and authors mentioned by the respondents in their statements. On the basis of the data obtained, we have interpreted the results of this research, compared the selected findings with similarly conducted qualifying work, and pointed out key findings that may be useful for pedagogical practice and further potential research investigations.
