The corporate culture in the selected organization

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá firemní kulturou v organizaci, která provozuje síť lékáren. Cílem práce je analyzovat a posoudit současnou firemní kulturu ve vybrané organizaci a na základě provedeného výzkumu navrhnout konkrétní doporučení vedoucí k pozitivní změně firemní kultury. Teoretická část předkládá základní informace o firemní kultuře a seznamuje s profesí, která se řadí mezi pomáhající profese. Empirická část obsahuje výzkum, který probíhal ve vybrané organizaci. Účelem šetření je především analýza současného stavu firemní kultury pomocí PVQ dotazníku, pozorování a polostrukturovaných hloubkových rozhovorů. Analýzou výsledků je potvrzen pozitivní stav aktuální firemní kultury v organizaci, současně její vliv na profesní jednání zaměstnanců v organizaci a zároveň fakt, že hodnotové důrazy zaměstnanců jsou prvkem napomáhajícím utvářet firemní kulturu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the corporate culture in an organization that operates a chain of pharmacies. The aim of the thesis is to analyze and assess the current corporate culture in the selected organization and, based on the conducted research, to propose specific recommendations leading to a positive change in the corporate culture. The theoretical part presents basic information about corporate culture and introduces the profession, which is classified as a helping profession. The empirical part contains research that was conducted in the selected organization. The purpose of the investigation is mainly to analyse the current state of corporate culture by means of a PVQ questionnaire, observations and semi- structured in-depth interviews. The analysis of the results confirms the positive state of the current corporate culture in the organization, at the same time its influence on the professional behavior of employees in the organization and the fact that the value emphases of employees are an element that helps to shape the corporate culture.
