Elaboration of CSR report via GRI reporting framework

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Tvorba CSR reportu s využitím reportingového rámce GRI“ je Společenská odpovědnost firem (CSR) a její reportování. V teoretické části se práce nejprve zabývá souvislostmi vzniku a současné podoby CSR. Dále je pozornost věnována všem třem pilířům CSR ve vztahu k reportingu. Následně jsou představeny jednotlivé normy platné na poli CSR opět z pohledu použitelnosti v reportování a v závěru teoretické části je podrobně popsán vznik, současná podoba i zvolená aplikační úroveň využitého reportovacího rámce G3. V rámci praktické části se práce věnuje analýze a vyhodnocení současných aktivit v oblasti CSR v podniku Formplast Purkert s.r.o. a s ohledem na uvedenou teorii je vypracována CSR zpráva. Tato zpráva je registrována u GRI a bude sloužit podniku při jeho prezentaci.

Abstract:

The subject of the thesis “Elaboration of CSR report via GRI reporting framework“ is the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its reporting. Firstly, the thesis is engaged in the continuity of the rise of CSR and its current form. Further on the attention is put on all three pillars of CSR in relation to CSR reporting. After that the norms valid for CSR are introduced when considering their usefulness for reporting CSR. At the end of the theoretical part development, current form and also selected application level of reporting frame Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) are fully described. In the practical part of the thesis the analysis and evaluation of CSR activities in the company called Formplast Purkert s.r.o. is done regarding to the mentioned theory. After that the CSR report is worked out. This report will be registered on GRI website and will serve for company presentation.
