Communications in services sector

Abstract:

Diploma thesis Communication in services is focused on marketing communication mix of services in tourism. The aim of the thesis was to analyze the level of marketing communication of any particular company in the service sector, including the identification of reserves and the possibility of strengthening the future. The company chosen was Pelikán, a portal providing tourism services. By the chosen methods of solving the research question: What communication mix tools does Pelikán use to achieve its high market success in the provision of tourism services? were marketing mix analysis and communication mix analysis. It has been found that the Pelican can be regarded as a good practice enterprise in communicating services with relevant success results. The identified reserves were the absence of cooperation with the best bloggers in Slovakia, the lack of focus on older generations and the absence of a loyalty program for customers. The proposals for the Pelikán were aimed at eliminating these weak points.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca Komunikace ve službách je zameraná na problematiku marketingového komunikačného mixu služieb v cestovnom ruchu. Cieľom diplomovej práce bolo vykonanie analýzy úrovne marketingovej komunikácie konkrétnej spoločnosti v sektore služieb vrátane identifikácie rezerv a navrhnutia možností posilnenia do budúcnosti. Zvolenou spoločnosťou bol Pelikán, portál poskytujúci služby v cestovnom ruchu. Zvolenými metódami riešenia výskumnej otázky: Aké nástroje komunikačného mixu využíva spoločnosť Pelikán na dosahovanie svojej vysokej úspešnosti na trhu v oblasti poskytovania služieb cestovného ruchu? boli analýza marketingového mixu a analýza komunikačného mixu. Zistilo sa, že Pelikán je možné pokladať za podnik vykazujúci dobré praktiky v rámci komunikácie služieb s príslušnými výsledkami úspešnosti. Identifikovanými rezervami bola absencia spolupráce s najlepšími blogermi na Slovensku, absencia zamerania sa aj na staršie generácie a absencia vernostného programu pre zákazníkov. Návrhy pre Pelikán boli orientované na odstránenie týchto slabších miest.
