Computer Literacy and its Usage by Upper-Primary School Pupils and Eight-Year Grammar School Students

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice počítačové gramotnosti a jejího využití u žáků 2. stupně ZŠ a osmiletých gymnázií. Hlavní snahou této práce je zjištění úrovně počítačové gramotnosti žáků 2. stupně ZŠ a osmiletých gymnázií a také zjistit, jaké aktivity nejčastěji dě-lají na internetu. Teoretická část se zabývá vysvětlením pojmů spojených s počítačovou gra-motností, informační gramotností, dále aktivitami na internetu, riziky spojenými s používáním internetu a příslušnou legislativou. Empirická část se věnuje zpracování dat z dotazníkového šetření. Zkoumá míru počítačové gramotnosti, její rozdíl u žáků základních škol a osmiletých gymnázií a její možné využití.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with the issue of computer literacy of pupils at secondary school and grammar school. The main effort of this thesis is to find out the level of computer literacy of pupils of secondary school and grammar school, and to find out what activities do they usually do on the internet. The theoretical part deals with clarification of concepts related to computer literacy, information literacy, internet activities, risks that are connected with inter-net and realted legislation. The empirical part focuses on analysing the data from the questi-onnaire and survey. It investigates the level of computer literacy, the difference between com-puter literacy of pupils at secondary school and grammar school, and it's possible use.
