The Ideal of a Teacher from the Point of View of the Students Studying at Basic Schools

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se zabývám ideálním učitelem pohledem žáků základní školy. Teoretická část je rozdělena do tří kapitol, kde se zabývám osobností učitele, pedagogickými dovednostmi a vztahem mezi učitelem a žáky. Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, jaký by měl být ideální učitel pohledem žáků základní školy. Ideál učitele jsem zkoumala ze tří hledisek, které na žáka působí a těmi jsou osobnost učitele, pedagogické dovednosti a vztah mezi žákem a učitelem. Výzkum měl kvantitativní charakter a byl realizován formou dotazníkového šetření. Dotazníkové šetření probíhalo prezenční formou a podařilo se mi vysbírat 374 vzorků, z nichž 369 bylo použitelných. Ve výzkumu jsem zjistila, že žáci nemají preferenci pohlaví učitele, měl by být spíše mladý kolem 30 let, hodný, chápavý, tolerantní, vtipný, chytrý, měl by velmi dobře znát svůj předmět a umět ho žákům srozumitelně vysvětlit. Také se zde ukázalo, že je pro žáky nejdůležitějším kritériem to, jaký mají s učitelem vztah. Tento vztah by měl být kamarádský, plný respektu a učitel by se měl o své žáky zajímat a pomoct jim při řešení problémů.

Abstract:

In this bachelor's thesis, I am researching what would the ideal teacher look like from the perspective of a primary school student. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters, the teacher's personality, the pedagogical skills of the teacher, and the relationship between students and teacher. The main goal of this bachelor's thesis was to find out what would the ideal teacher be like from the perspective of elementary school students. I researched the ideal teacher from three points of view, which have a solid influence on the students. As mentioned the three points are the teacher's personality, the pedagogical skills, and the relationships. The research had a quantitative character and was prepared with a questionnaire survey form. The questionnaire survey took a place as an in-person survey form and I was able to collect 374 samples of which 369 were useable. During the research, I found out that the students don't necessarily have a preference for the teacher's gender, what matters to them is if the teacher is young, in the early thirties, and kind, understanding, tolerant, funny, smart, if they have a good knowledge about the subject they teach and if they are able to explain the subject to the students. This questionnaire survey also showed the most important thing for students is the relationship they have with their teacher. The relationship we talk about is full of respect, and a friendly approach, the teacher should be able to show that they care about their students and they are always there to help solve problems of any kind.
