Human rights NGO`s and the promotion of interests in the Czech Republic in the era of the European migration crisis

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá výzkumem efektivity prosazování zájmů lidskoprávních neziskových organizací v České republice od roku 2015 po současnost. Primárním cílem práce je představit problematiku lidských práv, neziskového sektoru a občanské společnosti, a na příkladu vybraných neziskových organizací představit principy jejich fungování a advokační činnosti. Výzkum se opírá o data získaná z výpovědí samotných aktérů, kdy se zaměřuje jednak na způsob, jakým své zájmy komunikují, jednak na možné nedostatky v jejich působení, které mohou ovlivňovat jejich celkovou efektivitu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with research on the effectiveness of promoting the interests of human rights non-governmental organizations in the Czech Republic from 2015 to the present. The primary goal of the thesis is to present the issues of human rights, the non-profit sector and civil society, and to present the principles of their functioning and advocacy activities using the example of selected non-profit organizations. The research is based on data obtained from the statements of the actors themselves, focusing both on the way in which they communicate their interests and on possible shortcomings in their actions that may affect their overall effectiveness.
