Modern tools and techniques for building and evaluating scoring models

Abstract:

V této diplomové práci se venujeme tvorbe skóringového modelu pomocí logistické regrese. Jako datový soubor nám slouží behaviorální data poskytnuté nejmenovanou úverovou spolecností a jejich WoE transformace. Data obsahují informace o casovém intervalu vyplnování jednotlivých cástí aplikacního formuláre. Zjistíme, že data jsou mají signifikantní diskriminacní schopnost a sestrojíme model o výsledných 8 promenných. Vytvorený model nadále zkombinujeme z již používaným modelem a touto kombinací získáme nejlepší možný odhad defaultu klienta.

Abstract:

In this thesis we study a development of a scoring model using logistic regression. As our base data, we use behavioral data, provided by an unnamed financial institution, and its WoE transformation. The data contains information about a time interval of filling up parts of an application form of a client. We discover that the data have a significant diskriminat power and we construct a model with 8 variables. We further combine this model with already existing one, which gives us the best possible prediction of a default of a client.
