Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem „Budování skvělé firmy“, je rozdělena na teoreticko-metodologickou a aplikační část. První část je soustředěna především na vymezení pojmu skvělosti podniku, na to, co odlišuje skvělý podnik od podniku průměrného či neúspěšného. Rovněž je zde dále věnován prostor Modelu excelence EFQM, jakosti, charakteristice úspěšného manažera, etice a kultuře v podnikání. V aplikační části diplomová práce za pomoci případové studie analyzuje konkrétní podnik – a sice ekologické zemědělství ze širokého podnikatelského hlediska. Je provedena jeho interní, externí a finanční analýza a dále je podnik ohodnocen dle kritérií Modelu EFQM. Po zjištění slabých stránek podniku jsou následně z hledisek finančního, podnikatelského, psychosociálního, právního, kvality a rizika slabé stránky napraveny k potřebnému ideálu skvělosti podniku, kterým může malý a střední podnik skutečně dosáhnout a zvýšit tak svoji ziskovost a konkurenceschopnost.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the theme "Building a great company", it is divided into theoretical-methodological part and practical part. The first part focuses on defining the term of greatness of a business, what differentiates a great and successful company from an average or failed company. Additionally, the thesis discusses the EFQM Model of excellence, quality, characteristics of a successful manager, ethics and culture in business. In the practical part, the thesis, with the help of a case study, analyzes a concrete enterprise - ecological agriculture from a wider business perspective. The company undergoes its internal, external and financial analysis and is evaluated according to the criteria of the EFQM Model. After the weaknesses of the company are pinpointed, their financial, entrepreneurial, psychosocial, legal, quality and risk aspects are corrected to meet the ideal of greatness that a small or medium-size company can realistically achieve and thus increase its profitability and competitiveness.
