Preparedness to inclusive education as a instrument for self-evaluation of school

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou připravenosti škol na inkluzi žáků s postižením do základních škol. Práce je složena z teoretické a empirické části. Teoretická část se skládá ze šesti kapitol, ve kterých je proveden rozbor pojmů integrace a inkluze, je zdokumentován přístup k jedincům s postižením a také je zde zmíněn legislativní rámec začleňování žáků s postižením do běžných škol. Kromě tohoto se v teoretické části ještě věnujeme podmínkám začleňování žáků s postižením do hlavního vzdělávacího proudu a funkcím managementu ve školách při této problematice. Empirická část práce je založena na výzkumu ve dvaceti základních školách a následném rozboru odpovědí získaných z dotazníkového šetření. Výzkum se zabývá připraveností škol k začleňování žáků s postižením do hlavního vzdělávacího proudu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the preparedness of the schools on the inclusion of pupils with disabilities in primary schools. The work is comprised of the theoretical and the empirical part. The theoretical part consists of six chapters, in which is conducted the analysis of the concepts of integration and inclusion. There is documented access to individuals with disabilities and also is here mentioned legislative framework, the inclusion of pupils with disabilities into mainstream schools. In addition to this, we devote to the conditions of inclusion of pupils with disabilities into the main education stream and the functions of management in schools in this issue. The empirical part of the thesis is based on research in twenty primary schools and the subsequent analysis of the replies obtained from a questionnaire survey. Research deals with the readiness of schools to integrate pupils with disabilities into the main education stream.
