Human resources in EU countries in the context of Industry 4.0

Abstract:

Kotrbová, T. Lidské zdroje v zemích EU v kontextu Průmyslu 4.0. Bakalářská práce. Brno: Mendelova univerzita v Brně, 2024. Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou vztahu mezi ekonomickou úrovní zemí EU a jejich úrovní lidského kapitálu v kontextu Průmyslu 4.0. Cílem práce je ověřit hypotézu, že HDP na obyvatele má prokazatelně pozitivní dopad na úroveň lidského kapitálu v kontextu Průmyslu 4.0. Pro posouzení tohoto vlivu jsou použity dvě statistické metody: regresní analýza pro určení závislosti ukazatelů reprezentujících úroveň lidského kapitálu v kontextu Průmyslu 4.0 na HDP na obyvatele a shluková analýza pro identifikaci států s podobným vzorcem lidského kapitálu v kontextu Průmyslu 4.0. V rámci provedených analýz se podařilo úspěšně potvrdit pravdivost významnosti dopadu HDP na obyvatele směrem k lidskému kapitálu v kontextu Průmyslu 4.0 při postupném použití všech zvolených proměnných (Index lidského rozvoje, Lidské zdroje ve vědě a technologiích, Globální inovační index, výsledky testů PISA v matematice, Index digitální ekonomicky a společnosti a Index lidského kapitálu).

Kotrbová, T. Human resources in EU countries in the context of Industry 4.0. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2024. The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the relationship between the economic level of EU countries and their level of human capital in the context of Industry 4.0. The aim of the thesis is to test the hypothesis that GDP per capita has a demonstrably positive impact on the level of human capital in the context of Industry 4.0. To assess this effect, two statistical methods are used: regression analysis to determine the dependence of indicators representing the level of human capital in the context of Industry 4.0 on GDP per capita and a cluster analysis to identify countries with a similar pattern of human capital in the context of Industry 4.0. The analyses successfully confirmed the significance of the true impact of GDP per Capita towards human capital in the context of Industry 4.0 using all the selected parameters in sequence (Human Development Index, Human Resources in Science and Technology, Global Innovation Index, PISA results in mathematics, Digital Economy and Society Index and Human Capital Index).
