Development of the members of the Brno local committee student organization AIESEC

Abstract:

Cílem práce bylo prozkoumat podobu rozvoje členů brněnské pobočky neziskové organizace AIESEC optikou jejich členů. V teoretické části se věnuji popisu poznatků o vzdělávání a rozvoji zaměstnanců obecně, mentoringu a práci s dobrovolníky. V empirické části pak popisuji realizované výzkumné šetření, v němž jsem se zabýva-la otázkou, jak vnímají členové neziskové studentské organizace AIESEC v Brně svůj rozvoj v organizaci. Vzorek tvořilo 6 studentů, kteří byli v době provádění rozhovorů v AIESEC čtyři měsíce. Zpracování dat bylo provedeno pomocí otevřeného kódování, tvorby kategorií a kostry analytického příběhu. Výsledky ukázaly, že členové se naučí díky intenzivní práci na profesním i osobnostním rozvoji, zpětné vazbě a vedení od mentora organizovaně a vědomě pracovat s rozvojem. Toto nové zjištění je důležité jak pro práci na rozvoji členů AIESEC, tak pro nábor nových členů.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis was to examine the form of development of members of the local committee of the non-profit organization AIESEC in Brno from the perspective of their members. In the theoretical part I describe the knowledge about training and development of employees in general, mentoring and work with volunteers. In the empirical part, I describe the research investigation, in which I address the question of how members of the non-profit student organization AIESEC in Brno perceive their development in the organization. The sample consisted of 6 students who had been in AIESEC for four months. Data processing was done using open coding, category creation and skeleton analytical narrative. The results showed that members learn to work with development in an organized and deliberate way through intensive work on professional and personal development, feedback and guidance from a mentor. This new finding is important both for development of AIESEC members and for recruiting new ones.
