Consolidated financial statements under IFRS

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá mapováním průběhu konsolidace v praxi mateřského podniku, který je podle platné legislativy povinen sestavovat konsolidovanou účetní závěrku dle požadavků Mezinárodních standardů účetního výkaznictví (IFRS). Práce je zaměřena především na odhalení problematických oblastí, jejichž zanedbání může celý proces zkomplikovat a výrazně prodloužit, a tím negativně ovlivnit konečné sestavení konsolidované účetní závěrky. Cílem diplomové práce je vymezení specifik konsolidované účetní závěrky s přihlédnutím k IFRS, jejich aplikace v účetní závěrce vybraného podniku a následná identifikace klíčových oblastí pro zlepšení.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the mapping during the process of consolidation in parent undertaking practice. According to the current legislation, this parent company has to prepare consolidated financial statements under the requirements of International financial reporting standards (IFRS). The thesis is mainly focused on the detection of problematic areas, whose neglect can put the whole process in complications and cause it's extension. This can negatively affect the final preparation of the consolidated financial statements. The aim of the thesis is to define the specifics of the consolidated financial statements prepared under IFRS, to applicate them in the financial statements of chosen company and to identify the key areas for improvement.
