The proposal of an evaluation and remuneration system for the Hotel Frydl company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o hodnocení a odměňování zaměstnanců v hotelnictví. Cílem je vypracovat návrhy na zlepšení stávajícího systému hodnocení a odměňování zaměstnanců ve společnosti Hotel Frýdl. Práce se v teoretické části zabývá systémem a kritérii hodnocení, rolí hodnotitele, základními metodami hodnocení a návazností hodnocení na další personální nástroje. Dále se věnuje systému odměňování, faktorům a determinantům ovlivňujícím odměňování, formám odměňování, mzdovým formám a specifikům odměňování jednotlivých skupin zaměstnanců. Předmětem zájmu jsou také aktuální trendy v oblasti hodnocení a odměňování zaměstnanců. Práce obsahuje představení společnosti Hotel Frýdl a vlastní šetření, které se zabývá hodnocením zaměstnanců v ubytovacích a restauračních zařízeních a odměňováním pracovníků v oboru hotelnictví. V návrhové části práce jsou uvedeny návrhy na zlepšení systému hodnocení a odměňování zaměstnanců v příslušném hotelu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis discusses the evaluation and remuneration of employees in the hotel industry. The objective is to develop proposals to improve the current system of evaluation and remuneration of employees at Hotel Frýdl. The theoretical part deals with the system and the evaluation criteria, the role of the evaluator, basic methods of evaluation and how evaluation is linked to other human resources tools. It also discusses the remuneration system, factors and determinants affecting remuneration, forms of remuneration, payroll forms and specifics of the remuneration of individual groups of workers. Another topic discussed in this chapter are the current trends in evaluating and rewarding employees. The thesis also includes the presentation of Hotel Frýdl, a survey which deals with the evaluation of employees in the accommodation and restaurant facilities, and salaries of workers in the hotel industry. The thesis concludes with suggestions to improve the evaluation and remuneration system of employees in Hotel Frýdl.
