Quality of Services of Tourist Information Centres

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o kvalitě služeb vybraných turistických informačních center v Jihočeském kraji. V první části je vytvořen teoretický přehled zabývající se kvalitou služeb v cestovním ruchu, jejímu hodnocení a výzkumné metodě mystery shopping. Dále jsou popsána turistická informační centra a jejich funkce společně s minimálními standardy kvality a požadavky na kvalitu obsluhy vymezené Asociací turistických informačních center České republiky. Na základě tohoto přehledu byla stanovena výzkumná otázka včetně předpokladů pro její splnění. Část druhá zahrnuje metodiku pro sběr a zpracování primárních dat na základě metody mystery shopping, kterou bylo zkoumáno celkem devatenáct vybraných turistických informačních center v Jihočeském kraji. Součástí práce jsou výsledky ze tří fází výzkumu a jejich interpretace. Ze získaných dat je následně identifikována úroveň kvality TIC, která vykazuje určité nedostatky. Následně jsou navržena doporučení pro jejich zlepšení.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the quality of services of selected tourist information centres in the South Bohemia Region. In the first part, a theoretical overview dealing with service quality in tourism, its evaluation and the research method of mystery shopping is created. Furthermore, tourist information centres and their functions are described together with the minimum quality standards and service quality requirements defined by the Association of Tourist Information Centres of the Czech Republic. On the basis of this overview, the research question was established, including the prerequisites for its fulfilment. Part two includes the methodology for collecting and processing primary data based on the mystery shopping method, which was used to examine a total of nineteen selected tourist information centres. The results from the three phases of the research and their interpretation are included. From the collected data, the level of quality of TICs is subsequently identified, which shows certain deficiencies. Subsequently, recommendations for their improvement are proposed.
