Abstract:
Cílem práce je na příkladu Prahy zkoumat možnosti tvorby udržitelného veřejného prostoru, tak, aby se ve městě žilo všem obyvatelům lépe a zároveň město co nejméně zatěžovalo životní prostředí. Práce vychází z teorie města, veřejného prostoru, ale i z teorií udržitelného urbanismu. V rešerších jsou sledovány aktivity směřující k udržitelnosti i ostatních metropolí, zejména dánské Kodaně. The aim of this thesis is on the example of the city of Prague to explore the possibilities of creating sustainable public space to make life better for all residents in the city and while the city places as little burden on the environment as possible.
